Aging-in-Place Assistance
Practical, nonmedical support for older adults who want to remain comfortable and independent at home—and another dependable source of support for the people who love them.
Aging in place shouldn't mean aging alone.
There is a great deal of space between doing everything alone and needing medical or personal care. Legacy's team can help with everyday tasks, household needs, and finding the right resources while respecting each person's choices and independence.
Our services complement family, healthcare, home-health, and personal-care providers. Legacy does not provide nursing, medical treatment, or personal-care services.

What can we help with?
Choose an area to see details, then tell us what your household actually needs.
How Aging-in-Place assistance begins
Your initial consultation lets us learn about your needs and determine whether Legacy's nonmedical services are an appropriate fit. Requesting a consultation does not commit you to ongoing services. Before services begin, we'll complete the appropriate intake, discuss the requested support, establish scope, review pricing and potential assistance, and obtain any required agreements or authorizations.
We'll look for help with the cost, too.
Getting a little extra help at home shouldn't automatically mean assuming everything must be paid entirely out of pocket. As part of our intake process, Legacy can explore community programs, government resources, nonprofit assistance, insurance-related benefits, and other potential funding sources that may help with eligible services.
If we identify potential assistance, we'll explain what we found and any next steps. If assistance does not apply or covers only part of the cost, we'll explain the remaining cost before services begin. Funding, benefits, coverage, and eligibility are not guaranteed; some services may remain partially or entirely private-pay.

A personal reason to show up
Rachel's grandmother lives alone and can care for herself. Researching unfamiliar information online and keeping up with chores and projects can still be difficult, especially when family lives far away. Legacy was founded to help fill that everyday gap with practical, respectful support.
Rachel's respect for older adults was shaped by her family and the volunteers she knew at Harriman Hospital in Tennessee. Read the full story on our About page.
Help with documents, too.
When an important document needs notarization, explore Legacy's mobile notary and document signing services. We can discuss an appropriate visit location and availability.
Submitting a booking, appointment, or service request does not obligate you to purchase services and does not automatically guarantee or finalize service with Legacy Home & Business Services. Our team will confirm your needs, availability, service details, scope, and applicable pricing before services are finalized. Some services may require additional intake, documentation, eligibility review, or a service agreement before work begins.
